Get a Free Tutu and Help the Denver Children's Hospital

I love reading Jamie's blog - Champagne Wisdom - especially her 'short one' stories! When I saw the Free Tutu offer, I had to pass it on to you guys. Check it out here. Even if you're not one of the first 10, consider snapping up a beautiful tutu anyway because Kristen of Tickled Tutu is going to give you free shipping, and you get the chance to brighten a beautiful child's day. Thanks for the opportunity Kristen and Jamie! :-)

Pucker Up: Quick Lip Pick-Me-Up

Your lips, just like the skin on your face and body, need to be properly cared for! If your lips aren't as soft as you'd like them to be, or they look dull and tired - here's a quick DIY recipe for a lip pick-me-up.

It utilizes things you've already got in your kitchen, that are packed full of healthy nutrients for your kissers!

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Honey
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • Few Drops Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Sugar

Mix it together with your fingertip, and then apply it to your lips. Using small circles, gently massage your lips to exfoliate. This removes dead skin and brings out the shining, fresh skin underneath. After you've exfoliated, rinse your lips and apply a moisturizing lip balm, or a few drops of the olive oil by itself.

When you rub your lips together, you'll notice already that they're softer and more supple. Interestingly enough, this is a great scrub to exfoliate your face with as well - and honey and cinnamon fight pimples and oily skin. For oily skin or acne-plagued skin, mix just honey and cinnamon in equal parts and create a mask. Apply it to the face (avoiding the eye area) and allow it to sit for 15 minutes before rinsing and applying an oil-free moisturizer. Voila - clear, clean and beautiful skin!

Lavender Rose-I love both of those scents individually and am curious as to how they smell together.
